Screwbolt Performance Data

For specific bolt performance data, tensile and shear loadings please see the Screwbolts page of this website or contact us.

The performance figures shown in the Technical Data on each of the product bolt diameter pages, in concrete, are supported by tests carried out to UEAtc M.O.A.T 49 1992 by Independent Test Houses (ITH).

Brick and Block figures are actual results from ITH. These results are further supported by extensive on site and in-house testing, copies of both the ITH results and on site and in-house tests are available on application.

The safe working data is calculated from MEAN ULTIMATE LOAD ie. Mean Ultimate Load / 3 MEAN ULTIMATE LOAD = Mean value from at least 5 individual tests in unbroken material. (Characteristic loads for Screwbolts in concrete are available on request).

Site conditions vary greatly, as also do the materials encountered on site. Excalibur recommend that the user or specifier satisfy themselves of the suitability of the product for use in the application. To assist in this, Excalibur offer an on site testing facility in determining product suitability.

Excalibur maintain a policy of continual product development and testing.

The performance data contained in this website should only be used as a guide as the full technical information and independent test reports are up-dated on a regular basis.
